Directors Press Release

Important Notice- December 7th 2009

Firstly we would like to extend apologizes for any confusion over the last two weeks. With the complicated legal nature of any purchase agreement, we can only do our best to work within the parameters of the law and to give each area the necessary attention they deserve.

The launch of the upgraded software in June 2009 courted interest from several interested industry leaders.  As many industry insiders are aware the software set new bench marks in software development and gaming experience.

Deep negotiations between IPN and a Scandinavian based purchaser reached their final phase at the start of November. On the 9th of the month the network announced the suspension of deposits. Suspension of deposits was initiated due to a preliminary agreement to sell to the interested party for an undisclosed figure.

IPN has always taken care of its network with the utmost professionalism, and it would have been irresponsible to carry on taking deposits from players, whilst negotiations were reaching a successful conclusion.

On November 12th agreements were signed between the two parties, with the network suspending all gaming activity the following day. The playing community were informed of the suspension, and were advised to contact support over account issues. From the 12th of November – 3rd of December, both parties have abided by a strict confidentiality agreement.

The decision to close the bingo network was down to Interactive Playnet’s heavy dependency upon USA players. Due to the instability and complicated legal issues surrounding the USA market, the new owners do not wish to be associated with this market for any real money site either now, or the future.

The terms stipulated in the purchase agreement, included, that all bingo player balances were to be transferred to an accepting and responsible network, so they could continue to enjoy their online bingo experience. All licensees were to be successfully transferred to new networks, all IPN staff to be paid all monies owed and affiliate accounts to be resolved.

Now these processes are nearing 100% completion, the terms of the confidentiality agreement have been lifted, allowing us to inform the online community of the successful purchase of the software.

As directors of Interactive Playnet we have thoroughly enjoyed our experience in the industry and have enjoyed providing an unrivalled gaming experience for our players. We are sad to say goodbye to our loyal roomies and staff, but felt the necessity to exit the market at the right time.

We would like to wish the new owners the very best of luck as they are committed to building upon the established popularity of the games and to take the software in a very different market direction.

To all staff and associates with the project over the last 3 years we extend our many thanks and very best wishes for the future.
